• When hair is wet, comb starting from the bottom up.  Brushing is not recommended.

  • Winter carries it's own set of  problems for your hair -- static electricity and dry itchy scalp -- to mention a few.  Try using a spray leave-on conditioner or moisturizer.  We recommend Awapuhi Moisture Mist by Paul Mitchell.

  • To achieve a style with a blow dryer -- on towel dried hair apply your favorite styling product, using your hand and blow dryer, blow dry hair until damp dry.  At this time use a brush, when hair is completely dry use your curling or flat iron to help create and achieve the style you are looking for.

  • Naturally curly or permed -- for easy maintenance, apply styling product,  make the hair look as you want it to look dry and do not touch or comb until completely dry.  Hair will dry with a wet look. For a softer look, flip head upside down, run your fingers through.  (With practice, this look can work for all types of hair.)

  • To control hair that sticks out, roll under with a large brush.  Then you can style as you want.

  • If you have very fine eyelashes, apply your mascara vertically then lightly horizontally.
